Description

This is a ceramic tile that depicts a man sitting cross legged holding a pot in his lap. A piece of a larger display of multiple tiles, the tile uses a relief style to raise the man and his pot above the background. The tile is painted with natural paints in orange hues and was made with strong and sandy clay from near Reye's home of Santo Domingo Yanhuitlán.
