Description

This is a ceramic tile that depicts a human face done in a Mesoamerican style. A piece of a larger display of multiple tiles, the tile uses a relief style to raise the face above the background. The tile is painted with natural paints in orange hues and was made with strong and sandy clay from near Reye's home of Santo Domingo Yanhuitlán.
