This is a Mexican terra cotta mask that depicts a bearded man's head covered with flowers, small figures and birds. The mask is unglazed and the mask uses wire to attach some of the small ceramic objects to the mask. The mask most likely originates from Ocumicho, Michoacan, a small town known for its ceramic mask making and art. This mask differs from most Ocumicho masks as it is not painted.
