Description

Made by Oaxacan wood carver Gabino Reyes, this is a hand carved and painted angel figure. With pink wings and wearing a green dress, the angel holds holding a book with inscriptions. The book inscripition reads "Mi Libro de la paz", which translates to "My Book of Peace". This angel is similar to other angels by Reyes in the Shirk Collection that have outstretched arms and hold an object.
