This toucan is made of hand carved wood and painted with bright acrylic colors. It was created by a member of the Jimenez Ojeda family, possibly Maria Jimenez Ojeda, from San Martin Tilcajete Ocotlan, Oaxaca. The Jimenez Ojeda family are masters of wood carving and known for their vibrant and detailed painting, creating pieces that have a surreal look to them.
