Shipibo Tribe
This is a bamboo blowgun dart quiver made from a section of bamboo sealed with pitch. The bamboo is filled with stiff grass which cushion and protect the blowgun darts from damage. The quiver contains a number of darts made from palm ribs. There is a kapok container made from a gourd attached to the side of the bamboo. The quiver and gourd were by the Shipibo People of Peru.
