Description

These two dolls depict dancers in the traditional Zapotec Mestizo Dance of the Feathers, a dance performed during the Guelaguetza, an important annual cultural festival in Oaxaca. They are made of acrylic yarn and feature huge rounded headdresses. As this is traditionally a male dance, these dolls depict two male dancers.
