Online Exhibit - Miniature Vehicles

This exhibit presents some of the unique ways miniature vehicles are made by artisans from around the world. These vehicles are many times made as toys for children or as tourist trade commodities. Pieces like the Chiva Bus and Chicken Van are colorful and detailed representations of real buses that take people from village to village in Guatemala and Columbia. The tin safari jeep and coca cola can motorcycle are examples of artisans using recycled material to create inventive creations.
